The idea for Punkydoo Kids came from the combined ideas and experiences of two generations of stay-at-home moms.

Patricia comes from the generation influenced by first the Beatles, then David Bowie, all the way to the beginnings of the punk bands such as the Ramones.

Elizabeth comes from a generation of rap and hip-hop, Run DMC and the Beastie Boys, followed by the exciting beginnings of alternative music's Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

The DIY, or Do-It-Yourself, style of creating on an individual basis, and not mass production has always appealed to both moms. They both try to apply the idea of "Think Globally, Act Locally", and purchase goods and services that embrace these ideas. Thus, whenever possible, our own creations are designed on American Apparel and Alternative Apparel sweatshop free clothing and accessories. We are very excited to have recently added a new line called HAE Now, which stands for Humans, Animals and Environment. We will be adding extra features over the next few months, so come back regularly.
